Happy March!

Dogwood, Azeleas, and Wisteria--OH BOY! :) Although...these were taken last year. LOL! Spring is in the air, though--and some Azeleas have started blooming here and there. We went from the low 20's a couple of days ago, to (now) a very Springy 60! :) So sunny and nice! NOT my favorite time to write, though! I love rainy and thundery and gloomy!

But...I've got to have my Christmas Anthology, A Christmas Spirit, turned in April 1st, so after taking a nice long walk this afternoon, cleaning the house and running some errands, I'm now settling down to write.

I'll have to hurry though--CSI comes on at 5pm. LOL! Love that show! :)

So this is the first Saturday of the month, and every first Saturday of every month the historic district's River Street in Savannah has all the vendors pull their stuff out on the sidewalk, there's performers and all kinds of cool stuff going on, so I think me and my daughter are going to head down there for the day. Woohooo! :) Lots of fun!

So is it springy at your house yet? Or are you still shoveling your way out of the driveway? :)

I am gearing up for a brand-new contest, so keep a close eye out on my Contest page. I'll announce it here, too. Here's a hint: be thinking of some really great names for BEST FRIENDS of the hero/heroine. :) I think I'm going to do a Secondary Character Naming Contest! :) I've got to think more on it, so once I get all the stats down I'll announce it in full detail. :) Your secondary character name could be chosen to appear in my next NAL novel! (after Thirteen Chances and A Christmas Spirit!)

Happy March, Everyone!

  1. I live on the Michigan/Indiana state line near Notre Dame "Go Irish" and it got up to 62 today. It's supposed to be like this for the next 5 days,Mon. & Tues Thunderstorms Yeah! Then it's going to drop down in the 30s with snow, YUCK!Grass is brown and no flowers nothing but Blah!
New contest sounds great. Can't wait!

  2. I live in southern Bavaria in Germany and we still have very much snow here, although it thaws from time to time only to be again snowed in.

Yesterday (the 5th) was my birthday and I'm used to not knowing what weather I'll have then - never been good for planning things, though.

The new contest sounds wonderful! I'd love to have some secondary character (who could become a protagonist one day; just sayin') bear a name that I came up with. This is going to be so much fun, I already know it! ;)

  3. Hey, happy belated B-Day, LisaK!!! Bavaria sounds beautimus! I love snow! (that's because I live in the South where I DON'T have to LIVE in it!) But it's still pretty and fun to play in!

Angie--I've always wanted to go to a Notre Dame game! :) Go Irish indeed!

And yeah--I'm working on this contest/rules right now. I think it will be a LOT of fun!

    Thanks for the post guys!

  4. Great pictures, Cindy. You make me long for spring. Good thing it's warm today. I am really in the mood for this cold weather to be gone, gone, gone.

I wanted to let you know that I LOVED MacGowan's Ghost. I did a review of the book on my blog a couple of weeks ago at I am on pins and needles for the new one's release...

Also, I just wanted to let you know that your blog was nominated for an award by the ladies at Petit Fours and Hot Tamales. If you want to play along, you can read about it at Whether you accept or not, we do thank you and your blog for sharing such wonderful information.

    Have a great day.

I'm so glad you enjoyed MacGowan's Ghost, and THANK YOU for the nomination at Petit Fours and Hot Tomales. Unfortunately, the link wouldn't work and I couldn't find it! Check it out if you can and resend--I'd love to go over and visit! :)

Ya'll just had a bunch of snow in Atlanta, didn't you? BURRRRRR!!!! :)

    Thanks for the post!

    Hey Cindy,

Try this one. We posted it last weekend and then I ended up being way crazy with school and work and didn't get you guys notified!!! Sorry about that!!! If this link doesn't work, definitely check out the Feb 28th day...

Yep, we had a ton of snow (on the 28th...grin) then this past weekend was warm (in the 70's). Huge difference and I have to say that I LOVE the heat much better...
